Playsation Portable PSP

So any one else got one?
What a great idea for sony to ceate a handheld console.
And the online options is just a great addition.
Havn't played much online yet since you need to have signal which ltos of shops and cafe's get you or just buy a wirless router.

The games i have,
World Tour Soccer
Thug 2 remixed.
Yes only to but the great relseas are on the way: Pro evo, GTA, Football manager.

I also have a 512 memory card for mine so its also full of vids/songs and images.lol

It's something that I'd get if I had a lot of money, but unfortunately all the money that I get right now goes straight into the AJ Xbox 360 Fund.

I still like my DS, but the PSP is very appealing. Pro Evo on it might just convince me.

Well before the psp came out i had a DS for about a month ,lol
Then got traded in towards a pre-order of psp.

Looking back the DS was a total waste of money, i just think psp much better graphics, much more to do:Can stroe videos ,songs,images, can play dvds. Better games.
I also didn't realy see the point of 2 screens yea the touch screen was fun at first but just got boring and pointless.
Psp all the way.

Ive got a U.S PSP and have had it now for over 5 months and i think it's superb. Ive got quite a few games and recent ones that ive bought are fifa 2006, Burnout Revenge and i will be getting GTA Liberty City Stories when it's out next week.

Jas is Fifa good?
Am i pro evo fan but not sure which will be better on handheld.
SHould i wait for pro or get fifa.

Fifa is a very good game mate for the PSP but im also getting Pro Evo for it which should be very good indeed. I think you should buy both fifa and Pro Evo for the PSP.

I got a DS and have a happy owner for six months, sure the graphics are brilliant but the gameplay is!! And is the PSP's?? Well to be honest with you I don't realy know cause I never played it lol! (Suppose thats why I'm asking you...)

I heard there isn't much fo a managment mode on fifa is this true?

You've put a good console to waste before you ever gave it a chance to shine. It hasn't been a good few debut months for the DS, with hardly any top games on show. Advance Wars is out now, though, with games like Mario Kart, Metroid and a few other big names around the corner. Mario Kart itself has the potential to be massive. Online Mario Kart on over 40 racing courses and 6 battle arenas. To me, not much appeals more than that.

Also, the visuals don't need to be better. Granted, it's an advantage, but I'd still take a game like Zelda with poorer graphics over probably every PSP adventure game, regardless of how good they look.

Your choice, in the end, but I think you got rid of your DS far too quickly.

I've got to agree with the 'fro the lanch tiltes weren't the best there's going to be as far as I'm concerned the best has yet to come! A.K.A Mario Kart and Mertrio Prime.

I love my psp and can't wait for the compatibity with the ps3

Also the DS seems to have currently a much stronger games linup like mariokart ds, aniaml crossing, nitendogs, advanced wars but the psp is finally building up its lineup

I have a PSP along with Thug 2 ( I love the series and it's great on the PSP), Twisted Metal (eh...I love the series also, but skip this one), and Wipeout Pure ( , it's a great game, it's just too bad I barrely tried to beat it).

I am a little dissapointed with the games on the PSP, and the fact that if I want to take full advantage of it, I need to buy a bigger memory card.

It's awesome though. I think I might get GTA for Christmas.

I'll hopefully be getting one for my b-day along with GTA:LCS, PES 5, Virtua Tennis:World Tour and maybe Ridge Racer.

I beat it on easy and medium. I started to play hard, but sort of drifted away from playing it.....(got tired of losing, lol).

A little bit behind but balls to it. The PSP is a really big waste of money. The GBA and DS are far better handhelds, Sony make much better MP3 players and for the price you're paying you could almost get the 360 source system.

psp is insain on of my fiends has it with madden 06 and hot shot golf. my only round on hot shot is +69 beat that.

im thinking whether to buy an xbox 360 or a psp....pes5 on the move does sound very appealing but i love microsofts online gaming...brings a totaly different level to every game!?!?

Its a tough one to call, never played ona 360 so i'm not sure.
psp's are greta though, a dvd player, a game machine a mp3 player, has bluetooth gamging and the internet.

Maybe see wot peoples views are on the 360 when it comes out, and then decide.
Ask some one who has both they will know

Also it depends what you are like, are you a travelling person or not?

PSP is a godsend for when I got to away games on the coach, wish I'd had one for the 14 hour round trip to Newcastle last season.

All I really need is Blockbuster to start renting out UMD movies and I'm sorted

I had a PSP but I sold it, after the wow 'sexy gadget' appeal wore off.

My DS and iPod satisfy my needs!

does blockbusters rent out psp games i havn't been in for years.
