Need Help Compressing File

Basically i need to write a 770MB file to 720MB disk, Dont have a dvd-rw drive now as my other pc blew up and im on the laptop.

Someone mentioned about splitting it onto 2 disks but im not too sure how to do this.

I have winRAR and winzip also if that is any help.

Any help is very much appreciated, Cheers

have you zipped up the whole file?

Archieve it, it splits it into like 10-12 50meg files... i think.
