Metal Gear Solid Movie Announced

While talking about MGS during a HIDECHAN Radio piece "We're going to do it as a movie." says Hideo Kojima "I can't say when yet," he admitted shortly thereafter. He also admitted that the movie would be done in English. No more news is known at this point about the now official MGS movie; there are no directors, crew or cast set for the movie yet and there is probably not even a full script committed to paper.

Kojima himself is currently working on the next installment in the MGS game series - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - which is due for PlayStation 3 so maybe nothing will happen on the movie front until he finishes that task first.

Here is hoping it all works out and we get a quality movie. Mind you it better not be as good as the Halo movie.
