![]() That can't be the power supply surely not? Its almost as big as the original xbox There must be something smaller than that. The power supply I have with my xbox at the moment it the one with the green and red buttons on so I was expecting something very similar.

That small box isn't actually the power supply Dcontrol, on the original Xbox the PSU is inside the console itself. On the 360 it is external so it's pretty damn big.

no this is what you have IN your xbox...in order to keep the 360 more sleek and lighter, M$ decided to have the Power Supply on the outside, If you open up your average Pc, you'd notice that the Power Supply takes up about a quater of your case space...so its pretty damned big...hopefully by the time of launch the Power Supply will have been reduced in size...then again, you can always stash it behind your TV cabinet, or hang it off the side of your desk..
BTW the thing you have on your powercord of your xbox is the replacement cord no? This thing with the green and red buttons is actually a safety switch with a fuse built in to prevent power surges in the xbox power supply... It will be that big. However, it will be the same grey as the controller/console. Couple of years down the line when they can get their hands on something more conventional, they will pack new consoles with a new power pack. But for now, it looks like it will be that size. If any reduction in size, it will only be something like 10% less.

I'm not to bothered about its size really as it will be hidden out of site in my house its just that I was shocked that its that big. I thought in this day and age that things were getting smaller not bigger
