ps3 november?

dont know if this is old news or not,but anyway, ive been looking at the gamestation site and according to them the ps3 is due for a worldwide launch in november this year.

Doubt it mate, I really doubt it Spring 07 at the earliest for me tbh.But we will see.

It'd surprise me if it was released that early, unless they really rush things, because November would probably mean a simultaneous worldwide launch, and I just don't think Sony are ready for something like that.

Not that it really matters to me, anyway, seeing as I'm not getting one for at least two years, if at all.

I reckon November is a feasible target, the 360 came out relatively out the blue when people, i'm sure, were expecing a later release date.

If its at a 700 dollars price tag, fuk it. I really hope its not though. If it winds up being at 450 (price referred to from sony reps) with 60 gig HD that would be nice but I doubt it.

i would highly doubt us brits will get it until summer 07 , worldwide launch my ass, they always mess us about, not mention the fact that we will end up paying an extra £100 than anywhere else in the world

I think a worldwide launch in November with plenty of shortages seems, actually, very plausible. Sony can't miss the first two holiday seasons of a generation, that's for sure. And while some criticized MS for doing worldwide, seems like their "Leaders don't react" attitude has paid off, and now Sony is tripping over themselves to follow suit.
