Default Better than the first?

Do you expect this game to be better than the first or worse? I think this one will live up to the first expectations.

Hopefully it'll have everything that was promised in the first.

Even if it doesn't I'll still get it though. No matter how you put it, Fable was a great play.

i think fable was worth the money that i payed but it lacked replayability in my opinion, as soon as i finished it i never put it in again. the game was very good just overhyped... hopefully the same wont happen this time

Yeah I agree I did the same. Once completed never touched again the only other time I touched it was to put it on eBay . Fable 2 should be good though I really liked the first one so the next installment should be a lot better given the fact its on a next gen console.

i just don't know, i was so pissed off by its non replayability. i mean, even if you do go ahead and wait through the credits, and are able to keep playing.. there is nothing left to do, it should at least make up stuff, randomize something even. i playes a neutral, evil and good just to see the differences.. and i found none. just different looks, and that does not cut it for me. I just think two will be as depressing as the first only drawn out by another 20 hours worth a gameplay.

Lets hope it does have replayability maybe even content download too. It could even be multiplayer but there are no facts available yet as far as I am aware. I did love the fact that I could be called "arseface" though

I loved the scars and the nice fighting style...MUCH better than the "Hack-hack-hack-hack-chop-hack" style of Morrowind, however it never really had the same freedom as Morrowind, in fable you HAD to stay on the path as there was no way to get off it! The story was pretty short, and I finished it in less than 2 days of non-solid gaming time. I think i spent about 12 hrs on it tops...But that's pretty much the only thing that I, and everyone else, didnt like about it was just the lack of freedom and depth that one might find in Morrowind seeing as how Medieval RPGs are scrutinised (spelling?) against each other so heavily...

but yes...Fable 2 has, well, 2 different points on the hype spectrum. There are those that will compare it to Fable and say it will be just as dissapointing...and there are those that say that it will be like the original Fable, but more in-depth and will include all the good things that the original skipped on that everyone wanted...

I am actually hopeing they make a fable world similar to elder scrolls. open ended, then it would be perfect.

I've got to admit it was pretty easy but all though short and a little worse than first expected the first fable was a good game and hopefully number 2 can deliver where the first one failed. I've to disagre with what blackhawk said earlier about the open ending though, one of the thing the first one played on were all the choices you could make and to be perfectly honest there weren't many

Yeah i think he hit me at most twice lol. Another thing that got me was that if you continued afterwards you couldn't do the old quests you hadn't done even though you couldn't do them at the start. :brow

yeah how were you supposed to do those quests that were the beginning of the game? and i wish that in the first fable when you beat the game there would be like abunch of random side quests you could do that would randomly appear at the map table. like saving people who were kidnapped by bandits or something like that. i also hated that once you stole things from a house other items wouldnt appear in the cabinents later on and eventually tou couldnt steal anymore...thats always fun

Yeah because the quests at the start it wasn't possibly because of rank to do but by the time you were known enough to do them they weren't there anymore.

I think it was just to give you an example as to how it works, it was a short and fun game but I cant help but think about what this game could have been.

The development of the first Fable game was rushed and therefore released earlier than the developers of the game had wished for. They would have made the game much longer (meaning no 10 hour lifespan which Fable had) and have much more features. I really am anticipating Fable 2 lots and will most surely get it on the day it is released.
