Well, you got this ball right, and you gotta get it in this net yeah. But dont be thinking its Basketball, it aint, you use your foot innit.

Yeah, its good, better in places than 09, a little worse in others i.e fouls. Passing feels very realistic, shooting is much better, manager mode still isn't amazing but improved. Menus are very laggy, hopefully they'll sort that out with the 2nd Oct patch. Rains alot which is a plus in my book.
Other than that haven't noticed/played too much. Looks pretty identical to FIFA09.

Oh, quick free kicks is a nice addition, was a bit confused as to what was going on when I first got one though

I've signed up for the game face feature as well I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I'll do it tomorrow and post it up for those unfortunates that view this thread Also phat why is your player called Baron Von?

Hoping that I get this tomorrow since I've been charged for it and ShopTo usually get it to me a day before release date.

I've started to use a different name in my footy games. Mr Phat Muther isn't the best name for Football Manager so I decided on Baron Von Ticklebach. It's and evil/fluffy name.

Game doesn't feel anywhere near as polished as 09...the menu's are horrible, the delay/lag on them is really annoying. Has graphical glitches just above the top touchline too.

Online looks to have issues too a lot of games disconnected...when at 0-0 and when opponent winning...so it wasn't quitters. Having to download the team roster in between every online game is cack, for each session fine....for each game is just wasting time you should be playing.

Seems like it needed a bit more time to smooth some things out.

All those online issues have only just started happening in the last day or so, before that it was fine. I can only assume that as usual EA and their ----ty servers cant handle the flood of new people that got it today, if thats the case then tomorrow is gonna be disastrous. Hopefully all it is they doing some server work the day before everyones on it.

Gutted that I never got mine yesterday but I should have it today otherwise ShopTo will owe me some moolah!

Also I've tried 5 times to upload my mug to the game just for the crappy servers disconnect and then they can never reconnect. So you have to do the steps all over again only to be greeted with the same message again, it's bloody frustrating! I'm not happy with this feature They should have done it the way Rainbow Six Vegas implemented it, much easier to do rather than going through all this boring process on the pc/laptop.

Can't get my gamertag to sync with my EA account either since it's already been registered. I know it has! I did it for 08 and 09 but can't get it to sync ready for FIFA 10 probably because I need to register the game (which I currently don't have) online on XBL. Why can't they make things bloody simpler? EA have annoyed me already and I've yet to kick a ball!

The one thing that I am certain of today is that the servers are probably going to crash (several times) with all the influx of gamers online.

I've had this mornings post and still no game despite it being sent out before one o'clock on wednesday. Royal Mail are taking the proverbial pee now for a recorded delivery. Plus because of the postal strikes ShopTo have put their "release date or compensate" scheme on hold as well I've just found out. So there's another £3 I've missed out on. I'll now be selling my copy (if it ever arrives) to my mate who wanted me to order it for him anyway and getting this from the local Asda. I've been told it's selling for quite cheap instore at Asda

Well I've already been charged £34.85 by ShopTo so it'll be cheaper whatever. Asda are selling it for £27 while at Tesco and Morrisons it's £25. Bargains all around.

Well I still haven't recieved my copy of FIFA 10 from ShopTo and I'm thinking that Royal Mail have lost it. Losing all faith in our postal system since I've had several things go "missing". I've also found out the reason why I couldn't upload my face into the game as the service is down for maintenance (typical!).

The game is pretty good and I'm liking it so far. Nice touches in the arena with the freekicks set up and being able to play a match as well.

I'm very impressed with FIFA 10. Improves on everything great about FIFA 09

The EA Sports World website is a joke. The servers are almost non existent. I'm losing all faith in EA. It seems everytime they release FIFA that the servers crash and you can't do the things they claim you can, like putting your face in the game because the servers are always bloody down. EA need to pull their fingers out and start doing the obvious. As a consumer I'm really sick of this and they need to have everything in place before release not weeks after.

Agreed, why EA cant manage this is beyond me, a multi billion dollar company not being able to have stable servers for one of their biggest games is a joke. And you just know they would come out and say "it's a Beta" No, you just slapped that on there so you could use that as an excuse when it inevitably went down. If you are going to implement a brand new popular feature make sure it works before you release it.

Why they couldn't just add XB Vision support to it is a mystery. Oh wait, no its not, its laziness. All they've done for FIFA10 is retouch up FIFA09. They need to start from scratch for next years because if it has the same ----e menu system again I not getting it.
