Default Sony Psp

who of you also has a PSP, I just got GTA today for the PSP and the game is really cool.
And it looks the same as the first on the PS2…

I think this is one of the best games for the PSP

I own a PSP and I love it. It is on par with the DS in my handheld department, so I switch off playing them in my handheld gaming time (when Im not on Xbox LIVE). The PSP is great if you know how to use the media section and the internet on it. It is great to surf the internet when you dont have computer but you do have access to a router or a modem. The screen in my opinion is the best part, if it was on a simple screen like the DS the graphics would be alot worse. The PSP is a great example of why HD technology is needed for a console, it truly gives you the full gaming experience. If you want to see play your Xbox 360 on your standard TV then go to the local Walmart and play it on the HD screens they let you play the 360 on.

No but it comes out looking like on in the 3 inch widescreen screen. Trust me, minus the PSP screen and you will have PSone graphics.

Have I misinterpreted or are you saying that because Sony made the PSP it gets no respect?

Damn right. Anyway where did you pop out from? I would calm down your posts a bit. It's nearly midnight and I have had a busy day. Busy means I'm tired and can't be assed to even argue with you.

I'm from one of Steves other sites. I've not popped from anywhere, signed up before the site was proparly online but didn't get a 360 until recently so had no real reason to post.

I wouldn't say my posts are aggressive at all, I was only wondering why (I would guess) a grown man seems to have such a problem with a company.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to have a problem with a particular company. If you repeatedly buy faulty goods from a company, then you're not exactly going to be jumping to praise them, are you?

I had 3 PS2s in four years, which I find completely unacceptable. I wouldn't have the same dislike for Sony if I mistreated those consoles in some way, because then the blame would have been on me... sadly, though, it's Sony who are to blame, for making poor quality hardware. And I know I'm not the only one who has had to buy multiple PS2s, so it's not like I'm a one-off case or something. In fact, I know someone who has had 4 PS2s - his first he purchased on launch day, and his fourth he recently sold on eBay.

Grounds for disliking and not respecting a company? Combine the above with their pisspoor customer service, and I think I've got a perfectly valid reason for my lack of respect for them.

I had my psp from the day of the UK launch but I ended up selling it on eBay. I was happy at first with it but then I noticed a couple of dead pixels and a scratch from gods know what (since I kept it in the carry pouch) on it. I counted 6 dead pixels and it was only 3 months old when I sold it which isn't a great advert for Sony. I also had an issue with having several PS1's and PS2's because after a while they would become faulty. Not particularly a huge Sony fan but I have never had a problem with any of my xboxes......Sony take note and make a durable bloody console.

I agree, the PS2 is a perfect example for what you said, i've had 3 PS2's (1 due to my nephew pulling it off the shelf, so technically 2). The first I got on release date and the 3rd i'm still using. The PS2 has been poorly built, i'll accept that, but their DVD players, CD players, Discman, headphones have all been of an excellent quality and if I wanted to use it, I still have things that would work that are near enough 10 years old.

I can see your point, but at the same time, what Sony have given us with regards to the PS2, PSP and i'm sure they've played a big part in developing other technologys, I can't really understand what seems to be an attitude of 'Sony have breathed on it so I won't touch it'.

It's a similar attitude to British people that hate Americans because their president is George Bush (not suggesting any of you feel this way). It's pathetic and IMO, people should try being a bit more open minded.

I've never been overly impressed with PC's. You're constantly getting ****e on your computer, spend more time looking after it than using it fully and it crashes every so often, just for the hell of it apparantly. Windows XP is a really quite poor OS and I prefer using my mac to my PC, but it doesn't mean that I hate Microsoft and love Apple.

As of now, I prefer Apple computers, but if Microsoft were to release something that was far superior, I would at least look into purchasing it. I certainely don't want Microsoft to fail with their next OS just so Apple can suceed.

I got mine imported from the USA when they 1st came out there. It was excellent fun for a few months. I have since sold it as there where no decent games coming out for it and if I wanted a blast of retro I could just use the GP32.
