CM Game Night - Poll

CM GAME NIGHT!

Recently there has been talk on CM, of a community game night on Xbox Live. A simple session of gaming, perhaps for an hour or two, with fellow Monsters, all in the name of fun and socialising. I, like many other members, am very enthusiatic about the prospect, hence the creation of this thread.

If you are interested in a scheduled gaming session, perhaps each week or fortnight, then post here. In order to get this idea on the road we need to sort out a few issues, so we need to know the following;
The best day to hold to Game Night, weekday? weekend?
What time to begin? What time to end?
And what Games are most popular within out community, What games can we all play together?

If we sort this out, I think the Game Night will be a great success, but it all depends on how many people actually turn up. So it all depends on you guys!

Glitch 100 has personally vounteered to film every session he can, aswell as host the videos on youtube, for us all to watch and comment on later.
Aswell as this, I'll make the banner for our game night, aswell as a logo if we want one. Also, I could write a brief summary of the nights events, which, if permitted, could fit very easily in an official game night thread r even the main page.

Aswell as this, the multichoice poll above enables you to chose each day yo are free in the evenings to play, for example, if it were best or you that the Game Night were on the weekend evenings, vote for Saturday and Sunday.

Erm yeah this used to be done a lot on PDZ, i never attended like - I don't have the game - but they always sounded good.

I'd be well up for it - moistly if it were on a Friday or a Saturday, but I'll try and get involved whatever.

Not sure what games, but Mercs 2 is going to be popular I think?

And yeah, keep in mind there are alot of big releasen the coming months, so If you know of any with good multiplayer which could entertain us all.. you know what to do

Also, assome of you know I've been contemplating buying myself a capture card that works in theear future, if enough people are interested in this, then I'll definately get one. Therefore, though Glitch no longer has GTAIV, we can still decide to get together on that, as I could record that session.

Maybe run a full multivote polls to see who has what games. Might be an idea to run a short list of who has what first then poll the most common.

Doesn't Mercs 2 lack competitive multiplayer though? It only has 2 player co-op right? That wouldn't really fit alongside COD and Halo, as much as I want Mercs 2.

That is a good idea- finally find a definitive game taht everyone can join in on

why dont we leave out the old games and do it on the new games that come out and find out witch ones the best for it

And we need to sort out a definate time aswell, I think Jam man is intrested, and we need to take into account him living Australia, aswell aseveryone elses work commitments etc. I hink it would be best to have one specific date every week rather than alternating.

well lets be honest jam man will have to work around the time its got to be resoable for the majority and thats us living in the uk

Can we make it like a late night one for people in the UK? im willing to wake up at 4am to join in for a few hours before popping off to work that would be around 9pm or 10pm for you guys, which isnt very late at all haha

I'm just saying, take into account that Jam man would like to join in. It's notlke we have enough regular members to disregard one whose genuinely interested. Besides.. I don't think 9pm would be too bad really.

You can now vote on the poll at the top, for the days you are free (in the evenings) to play, in other words, vote for which days would be best for game night. (It's multichoice)

So far the days with the most votes are Wednesday and Sunday. But we still only have about 5 people willing to attend. I know this is now a quadruple post but I'm just trying to keep the topic alive. I'm guessing it will be another few weeks with a few more votes until we confirm a day, as for now, help me keep the thread alive!

I'll make Game Night a reality if it kills me.

I'm only available Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday isn't the best of days for me. I'm willing to attend.

September is a really really busy month for me Got so much going on. As soon as October starts there will be mashups, get-togethers etc you name it

Mm, as i've said it's difficult for me seeing as though i'm 7 hours ahead of the UK, but probably a weekend would be best for me, as i've voted. But it will be at a really obscure time for me, and i'll be lagging. It would probsbly be best for me to sit it out.

That's all I'm asking for at the moment, just a vote, it's the first step and it doesn't mean it's starting this month, as we still need to sort out which game and at what time in the evening.

I know there are quite a few of you interested, hence we need people to vote who are interested, even if you have no preference of the day its on, vote for everyday or your favourite for all I care, your name needs to be on the poll for me to see how many people are willing.

Game Night will probably be scheduled sometime after September, so theres no need to worry Dvx, This thread is just to help me see which day/s would be best to host it on, but we still need more!

I would be up for it and i am excited to hear about an improvement in get-togethers. I think that as a community it would be good for us to get-together and have fun playing with eachother

Looking forward to getting alot of fun out of ConsoleMonster's members and the games they own, and we could just constantly mick the crappest player out there

Im thinking of doing a GAME WEEK! With a prize to be one every night

Gonna start emailing some selected people to give me a hand, as probably most often i wont be able to make every night

All you'll have to do is set up a room on that night And send out invites to members who want to play

Sweet, get them to vote on this thread - we need to sort out a day. I'd say if one specific day gets about 8 or so votes from regulars, we settle for then.

Sat and Sundays during the day would be the best time for me. COD4 and Soul Cali 4 are what I am most active in atm also. So if anyone organises anything like that it would be awesome.
