Game: Black

I just played the game demo from OXM and it was awesome. The graphics were amazing with all the explosions going on 24/7. Though the graphics aren't the only thing that will blow your mind, but the gameplay. It actually feels pretty realistic ( in some ways ). It's like a war game, with huge weapons set in the present time. Man, this game is good. If you still got your Xbox like i do, take it out of where ever you left it to die because you got your brand new 360 and buy this game. I know i will....

yeah looks like a top game but just think how much better it could be if it was for 360 only.

They should of made it on 360 then it would be just.....mad awesome. I mean if it looks that good on a 4 year old Xbox, imagine...just...imagine....what 360s version of the game could do.

The Xbox has had years to increase libraries and so on. You can squeeze out a lot more of its capabilities than the 360 right now. I mean, case in point, look at Gun. Not made for the 360, and the port shows.

You right. Well if they would of made just for Xbox 360 and develop the game for few years, than the Xbox and Xbox 360 versions would be like day and knight. Thing is that Consoles need time to show off the power. I mean look at first generation Xbox games and last, you'll see the difference.

Well the rumours are that could be perhaps the best Fps of 2006, so it would be a shame if it would not be made for the hottest console at this moment the 360…

Though the 2006 is just getting started. You never know what will come out later in the year. Halo 3 Anyone? Call Of Duty 3?

Been playing this all night....great game. The atmosphere is perfect. The soundtrack is awesome and then you have the graphics, which seem to be getting better as the game goes on. Probably the last game ill play on original Xbox, before it goes to meet its maker.....

any news on BC for this game scart cables look **** on my lcd tv and i dont want to hack one up to make a vga cable which i heard you can do.

No BC for it.....possibly won't be at all. The Criterion guy didn't sound too happy that MS won't make the Burnout games BC.

To get the Xbox to work on VGA you need a hacked cable as well as the modded Dashboard to give you the High Def output...at least that's my understanding of it.

I'd really like to do it for mine but there's a risk I'll mess something up and can't play any of my games ever again.

It's not that they "won't". It's not like Microsoft has arbitrarily decided that it won't ever do certain games.

No need to modd your Xbox to use VGA. There are products that let you switch between VGA and optical. Like the The X2VGA for 85$.

Won't work with PAL xbox's.

Basically if your Xbox is modded you should have an option to set video output to NTSC..once done you can use an Xbox Component cable or the MS Hi Def pack and then the Hi Def options will appear in your dashboard.

I'll test this on my Samsung LCD later when I can get rid of the missus.

If your Xbox isn't modded then you can still do it, you can 'soft mod' your console to output NTSC by using a Mech Assault/Splinter Cell modified gamesave. You still need the cables mentioned above for it to work though.

I want an X2VGA or Vdigi VD-Z3 so I can hook up my Xbox to my PC LCD but it's gonna be £50-60 and I can't justify that really.

Raised.....it's definitely getting hold of a MS Hi Def pack or an Xbox component cable (I got mine from Game for £9.99).

I wasn't to happy with the quality of my Xbox on my Samsung Hi Def LCD when using RGB Scart...was very soft and bit grainy.

Setting my Xbox to NTSC (using Enigmah video switch on EvoX dashboard) and hooking it up with component opened the Xbox Hi Def options and then all games will run at 480P and some at 720p, 1080i...this made a big difference and the quality of the picture on my LCD is now pretty awesome...well as awesome as an Xbox can get anyway!

my gamecube looks crap on this tv im using now, also got it hooked up to my PC so i watch my videos (midgit wrestling anyone).

if its only a tenner itll be fine but im hoping on the game been made backwards compatible but ive been hoping for prince of persia 3 been made BC for 3 months now.
