Call of Duty 4 Discussion Thread (re Fixtures etc)

Please keep all Call of Duty 4 Tournament discussion in this thread.

Could you provide information on Times at which the Games are expected to play and whether they are pre-set or determined between the teams?

Also is it a standard knock out tourney?

Standard Knock Out tourny, teams will be generated against each other at random

Teams will have x amount of days to arrange fixture between both Team Captains

Once we see how many teams we have then we will select an "x" amount of days

It wasn't deleted. It was moved to another forum so it could be discussed between the staff. A decision will be made when sign-ups have finished.

any particular reason? I know we'll have atleast 5 teams so we can get a good COD league going rather than a knock-out

Will only be a knock-out tourny if we can get atleast 8 teams

I was meaning if we're still having a tourney, keep it open for longer to get more teams in, but seeing as the League is the way it's going, sounds good

Probably be more interesting to have a running league for a while rather than one knock out tourney

And even if we did get another 3 teams or so, maybe see who's willing to do the league also after the tourney has finished?

yeh, if more teams join then thats great.They just need to play catch up matches

^^can you guys not sort out a team between you? All five of you then when it comes to games you could select 3 people. Rotate between games etc. :-) Or two teams of 3 that would make seven teams if you both joined. Perfect for a league table. Means one team always gets a free gameweek

Well if Truplaya's out, Fusion, Sean and Headshot could form a team... 6 teams is better than 5!
