Rule Change.

Can i ask why it is Default maps, and AR start.

I meen Maulers on the map takes no skill.

Can it not be changed to MLG Setting or even make your own.
BR start etc, no duals.

If the staff are willing to consider this then i am more than willing to help with editing maps as i have knowledge of halo etc

To see better competition within the teams you want to take away the the maulers, duals etc and make it br start, or even have AR start BR secondary.

Yeah i no i will play them, just there are better rule varients than what are being played.

The rules are fine. The defaults aren't just random ya'kno.

If you can't play with what you're given then are you really any good?

Don't think any of you should have a say in the rules tbh, no matter how good you are at halo or how well you know it. It's a console monster tournament and you've just signed up to play, no other reason.

If you have modified maps, then the person that modified it will know where all the weapons will be. Its obvious as to why its Normal Maps (No Forge).

thats y u put them on fileshare and ppl can play them befor the tounement start but if u ask ppl whats the best start is and they would say BR because they take more skill.

BR takes no more skill than the AR.

Firstly BR has a scope which gives it an advantage over an AR.

If it wernt random maps then who ever is in charge off this tournemant would publish them on there file share and people would download and pratice on them maps via custom games. And beleive me the majority of players that play halo 3 prefer to play BR starts. Look at MLG and its fanbase and XL, in both online and LAN events they play BR start as it is a fairer and at a higher skill level than to playing with an AR, eg : headshots etc.

Therfore if everyone spawned with a BR then as soon as you spawn you can compete with players cross map.

What's the point in entering the tourny if a few MLG wannabe's register (solely for the tourny) and dominate with the BR?

Na because if both teams start with BR its unlucky one team will dominate unless one team is extremly better than the other teams.

And how am i an MLG Wannabee or anyone else who plays and follows MLG?

Rules are rules. Deal with them.

What sense does that make? It completely contradicts what Dodger was saying about the BR being better for the fairness.

No it doesn't read back whatt hs been written.

u guys are the ones that camp and use mauls

The BR is much fairer and its not to cater for our needs.
Its more of the fact that the BR is a short-mid-long distance weapon where as the AR is a short distance weapon which isnt fair and also makes the melee system f up.

With the BR everyone is even unless you obviously cannot use the BR so need to spray and pray with the AR.
Eg on maps like Guardian or The Pit who ever has the snipers will win at distance so u might aswell not move and just wait with a AR, which then makes completly pointless games.
You might aswell just sit in a corner with maulers its that stupid.

If you have a BR you can actually attemp to stop the sniper and push around the maps isntead of having to camp in one corner of the map with a CLOSE range weapon.
