Backing up my save files

Well, I have been reading a lot about PS3 save files being deleted after updates and 360s just plain breaking. So I was wondering if there was a way to keep a back up of my save game files on either console in case the unthinkable should happen. Nothing shifty,just being safe.

I dont think backing up game saves is the problem. I think it's just backing up the whole game onto a seperate disc thats illegal

Anyway, the only way to back up game saves is to save your game on a memory card instead of your hard drive. When it says "store memory" or whatever, when you save. save it instead to he memory card instead of the HDD Drive

Damn, so you cant put them on to a data stick? A well, Ill just hope the 360 doest break
