the Shadowrun GET TOGETHER Thread (PC and 360)

thats right on friday shadowrun comes out and it works on live with both the pc and the 360 so lets have a gettogether soo i can spank you ----- all over with my mouse and keyboard because lets face it im ----ing amazing at everything and all of you are ----- so i win even if i loose because your a ----.

anyways ill be starting from when ive installed the game soo ill be on all day but not the night time but ill be on all saturday as well but it depends if the games anygood online their aint been a demo.

any one up for an arse kicking then?

i take it im the only one getting shadow run then oh well ill play it by myself nowt new their mind you i enjoy a good play by myself

lol funny thread i might be getting this game on friday so if i get it i will give you an ass kicking you have never experienced, i will be getting this game just might wait though.

It is either some nice puma footwear or this on Friday undecided lol

well you know its basicly a multiplayer only game their no single player bar training soo its going to be good online

If I get it, it will be for the PC as I'd like to be able to give it a Spin for an FPS, but know that If I'm ---- I can switch back to Controller.

yeah cool i got a pair of raptors coming on friday as well soo ill have too hook them ----ers up first and reinstall windows as i want them as my amin hard drive

I want a demo before I get, I dont like the look of it, but if it plays alright I might get it.

I think Shadowrun looks a bit dodgy...so I won't be buying it unless you all start creaming your pants over it....and not just pretend creaming to make me waste my money.

Well it came out today in the US, and Gamestop already has it listed as "ships within 24 hours" Used.. Kind of sad that enough people traded it in the day it was released for it to be listed on the website as in stock - that never happens first day.

I thought maybe they'd improve it from the Beta, but it looks like it's still as average. Meh.

Pretty bollocks how my local blockbuster has closed down now to make way for a bloody vets, who has animals these days anyroad? So i'll try and get hold of a copy from somewhere else as i've never been to a get together with you lot and it would be nice to make your aquaintences properly.

shadow run game types

Raid The Raid gametype requires the attacking team to capture a magical artifact and deliver it to the extraction area. The defending team must stop the attackers from escaping with the artifact. The artifact always starts in the same place and only the attackers can carry it. If it is dropped and not picked back up, it will eventually return to its initial location. With one side on offense and the other on defense Raid is the most tactical gametype, often feeling like a high speed chess match with magic and machine guns. Extraction In Extraction the artifact starts in the center of the map. Both teams can pick the artifact up. Each team wants to bring the artifact to a separate extraction area on the opposite side of the map from where they start. Extraction is the more fast paced and frantic than raid. Both sides are after the same thing so combat happens faster and is faster paced when it does happen. Attrition In both Raid and Extraction a team can win by eliminating the other team. In attrition that is the only way to win. There is no artifact to capture and control. Instead there is only the destruction of the enemy team. It’s pretty simple. The last team standing wins.

I got it for my PC, so I think an added incentive is you get an achievement for simply playing against someone who is playing on a Windows Vista PC, so there you go me and RBF can help you get that

yep people loved me on live because a i was makign their team win and b they were getting achievments from reviving people, big d big advantage for us we get the kill 100 people from another system much quicker

I've ordered it (for £27.56!)...so will have in a few days...unless the missus tries to swindle it as a Fathers Day present for me then I'll have to wait a bit longer.

This is sort of unrelated but is there any way to get the Windows Live Dashboard Interface other than buying Shadowrun?

I personally think they should of made it seperate, because let's say this does take off, which I hope it does because I like having the idea of having a unified Friends List, not fushed about achievements although they are an added incentive especially when playing Cross platform games...

Anyway, when it comes to you have say 5 different games that have Xbox Live enabled, everytime you quit that game it's going to sign you out of Xbox Live. Then sign you back in again when you put the game back in, it's just not as seemless as it could be.

It's kind of like they have jumped back to the Xbox 1 Days.

Meh. I was thinking it'd just be a dashboard you could have open all the time in the background; press a button and there's everything: friends list, messages, account settings.
