Haze is a first-person shooter from the developers of Timesplitters, by the looks of it the game looks pretty impressive. Its been said that it will be PS3 exculsive

As pointed out by a commenter. Look at the bottom and you can spot the 360 logo.

It's always been a multiplatform title has Haze - even PC...it will be interesting to see which system its run better on out of the 360 and ps3 because there was an article in a magazine i read saying that Free Radical were designing it for the ps3 first then 360 etc..maybe that's the truth and thats where this story spawned from

If it's anything like Timesplitters then I'll have to get it, I'm not a big FPS fan but Timesplitters was amazingly fun.

How about parallelism? Does the engine support multiple processors?
[SE] Yes, it has to. The architectures of PS3, X360 and high-end PC’s are fairly different, but they all have one thing in common – parallel processing. The challenge for us has been in designing a solution that will work well across the platforms.
Think that answers it

I'm afraid not, Toby:
This morning, Ubisoft revealed that the PS3 is now the "lead platform" for Free Radical's forthcoming shooter, Haze. Originally set for a release on the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 this spring, the game will now debut solely on the PS3 this fall.
In fact, the fact sheet provided by Ubisoft no longer lists the PC or Xbox 360 versions of the game, prompting some speculation that it may become PS3-exclusive. The UK Haze site for the game also only bears the PS3 logo, although the American Haze site still sports the Xbox 360 and PC-DVD logos at its bottom.
When contacted by GameSpot, Ubisoft reps were somewhat cagey. "Haze is leading on PS3, but no exclusivity for any platform has been officially announced," a spokesperson said. This leaves open the possibility that the game could arrive on the 360 and PC sometime in 2008. -Gamespot
I sure hope it's still going to be 360 at some point. It looks really good.

well according to this (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=164695) it's for all......
Chatting to the Haze devs showed that the game is being pushed as a PS3 exclusive but that a 360 version is there, hiding in the background. Haze PS3 is very much a timed thing, so expect Haze 360 Spring of next year no doubt.
The game does indeed rock. Keep an eye on the front pages when I post my Ubidays stuff :)

I duno why you seem to be thinking that what ever you read it cant possibly be coming out for 360. It's being developed for the 360. What dev would develop it on the 360 with no intention of releasing it on said console. Its a waste of time and money. This is what I was trying to get at. It doesnt matter what they said at the presentation because they have said they are developing it on the PC and 360. Basically it all comes down to them and bad publicity.

Is that directed at me?- i was simply pointing out that the game will make an appearance according to this...and quite frankly i don't give a ---- what console it ends up on or doesn't (now that wasn't directed at you)...if it has some exclusivity on the ps3 then it will give the fanboy's something to shout about or for people to argue which system its better for.
no sorry Hotfish, I multi quoted when I wasnt supposed to.

I thought not....
but yep Haze looks good but that's all it will be....a pretty run of the mill FPS with some online mode of sort and a killer new feature within single player like reverse bullet dodging that no other FPS can do until the next ver of the franchise.
Hurry up October for GTA IV - fun

Yeah, I worded my post wrong. I was just pointing out that it's not coming out at the same time on all consoles, and yes, that Q&A bit does basically prove it's on both. Forgot about that when I read GS saying it may not be on both.
