Condemned 2: Bloodshot is Confirmed!

Among the publishers showing their wares to a thinly stretched press corps is Sega. The company announced a quintet of new titles this morning, including a sequel to its popular survival horror title, Condemned. Though no mention was made of a PC version, Sega did confirm Condemned 2: Bloodshot will ship in early 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe.

No rating or pricing for Condemned 2 was announced. However, an M for Mature sticker is almost assured. That's because like it predecessor, Condemned will have players "engage in visceral combat using a variety of firearms and blunt instruments," according to Sega. However, the game will sport an all-new combat system with a reworked fighting mechanic, and will introduce several online multiplayer modes including (what else?) deathmatch. - Gamespot

I still haven't finished the first, but this is great news. I know many people on here have been excited with all the rumours, so it's good to finally have something solid.

Online multiplayer is an interesting idea.. I'm not sure if it'll work, but if it doesn't, at least there should be a quality SP game below it.

I completed the first game on the missus' gamertag and I did jump in a few parts of the game. It just lacked a few more weapons and enemies for my liking but it was a good game. So is it agent Thomas back for another outing or someone different?

I finished the first, it was extremely tense and I did enjoy it overall, but it was far too simple and repetetive. It was just a constant, very simplistic maze game, I hope they make the sequel a bit more sophisticated.

Loved the first game, it was a sad day when I traded it in :(
First time I played through it, I did ---- myself now and again, especially the part when your photographing the 'dead' man in the locker, and he turns his head, I almost dropped my pad.
So yeah Bloodshot will be an almost certain buy

Good news, hopefully Sega will make some dosh from this one as the original didnt really sell too well. Most players have picked it up via word of mouth. Its now a budget title and deserves a bigger audience. So if you aint played it I suggest you get it.

i fell out my seat playing this game it made me jump so high i ended up on the floor only one other game has made me do that, now people would think thats a bad thing i like like the rush and ive killed it for my self as ive seen/played every scary game and movie i could and grown immune so it was the first thing in years that actully made me ---- my pants

How about the end of Mission in the Tunnel for Streloks stash in Stalker? That made me jump the 1st time :D
