Musicwise in UK, what's popular?

Are these artists big in Europe/UK? Jem, Scooter, Chemical Brothers, DJ Tiesto, Gigi D'Agostino, or Natasha Bedingfield.

Or if they're not, tell me who is popular among the Dance, Pop, Techno genre. :cool:

Not exactly my sort of thing but Chemical Brothers were big quite a few years ago now, and Natasha Bedingfield broke through a couple of years backs.

Can't say I've heard of the others.

Chemical Brothers are big here, definitely.

DJ Tiesto is only for the real hardcore dance fans, and I remember Scooter had one song that was quite popular, but I haven't heard of them since.

Others, I dunno.

Heard of them all except Gigi D'Agostino (?).

Jem has had a few hits (theme tune for Out of Work 'Celebrity' Love Island), Chemical Brother aren't as popular as they were going back a good few years but they still have a hardcore following (I like them). Scooter...German pap....thankfully long gone, if he ever got big over here I'd go live elsewhere or slit my wrists. DJ Tiesto you only really see on Dance compilations but ok I suppose. Natasha Bedingfield has had a few hits too but gone a bit quiet now....hopefully busy killing her brother!

yep Jem has released 2 singles and an album over here, which sold well. Chemical brothers are big. Others not heard of.

Arctic Monkeys are massive over here, brand new band, hot onto the scene. If your bothered. :D

Natasha Bedingfield is probably the biggest out of them lot, though.

they're all big in Europe in a way,maybe Gigi d'agostino the less known because when you go to the disco it sounds good but you don't know the name of the artist and the day after you don't remember nothing at all, hehe!
but i think many of you have listen to gigi d'agostino but don't realize

Anybody listen to Rammstein, I must say they are better than any american rock group over here, only System of a Down and Metallica can compete with them in terms of pure solid rock.

Mainstream over here seems to be indie-pop at the moment, you know your franz ferdinands etc all that stuff that sounds the same.

Dont come across much people that listen to dancey music, thank god for that.
