Has anyone got this game? If so is it any good?

Its old and dated now but its ok still I suppose. You need a lot of free hours for this game as well as a lot of free space left on your HDD. Theres a monthly subscription fee too. I still have my copy although its no good to me since the codes are now invalid (it will make a good frisbee I suppose). Plus its online play only, and some missions require a party of players although a lot of missions you can do yourself.

Don't think i'll get it then if there is a monthly fee to pay. Shame because I really wanted to play a big RPG game!

At the time of its release, it was applauded as the best MMO available by a number of critics, however more recent MMOs (such as the sublime World Of Warcraft) pretty much make it look like it may as well have been made in 1995. You will enjoy the setting if you're a Square-Enix nut, though.
