Sony Slaughter a Goat to Promote God of War II

This has made my mind up for certain, Cheers Sony, I never plan on getting a PS3.

London's Daily Mail reports that Sony apparently decided to turn things into a true Roman spectacle in the UK for the launch of God of War II by decapitating a live goat and having revelers reach inside to feast upon the goat's innards.

At first, we thought this was a clever analogy someone was using to describe a piñata being busted open, but it appears like it was the real thing. According to the article, "Guests at the event were even invited to reach inside the goat's still-warm carcass to eat offal from its stomach." Yuck!

Offal is the entrails and internal organs of a butchered animal

So therefore it wasnt the actual intestines of the animal, i'm also sure it would of been cooked

To be honest.... they probably sacrificed a farm load of goats before the EU launch of PS3.

The Goat wasn't slaughtered at the Event is true, however leaving the decapitated head of a Goat hanging on by a mere bit of skin tissue while inviting people to eat offal from it's body is disgusting. Treating it like a "Goody Bag" for consumers to eat from is terrible.

Also with the Offal sourced elsewhere, I'm sure with the Money they have they could of easily came up with a Prop to display this rather that showing this much disregard for the Animal's Life.

Everyone deserves decency, including Animals, and there is always a barrier and the fact they can no longer feel it doesn't make it any more acceptable.

totally agree, THIS IS ----ING SICK. me? i dont usually care much for animals but to promote a game on an out of date console they resort to killing a goat? this is seriously ----ed up. What The Hell Are You Doing SONY?
