Two people have been cautioned for using people's wi-fi broadband internet connections without permission.Full Story Here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hereford/worcs/6565079.stm)

Seems that some people want the internet for free too. I know someone who used to connect to his next door neighbours wireless network for a year and his neighbour is still none the wiser. I have a wireless setup and it is secure as I can make it, at least I'd like to think it is secure.

What are your views on this guys?

If they just use it to browse the net, nothing illegal, nothing that hogs my bandwidth, and doesn't mess around with anything on the network, I really don't mind.

Haha...sitting in his car with his windows (card)boarded up! That's quality!

If someone doesn't secure their Wi-Fi it's their own tough ---- tbh, when I got mine first thing I did was scan the area to see if I could leech off someone for fun...sadly only 1 was found and that was secured. Would've been quite amusing to DL torrents all day whilst they sit there crying about slow internet.

I used to leech of my neighbour. He knew though, we used to play LAN games together on the 360.

sadly only 1 was found and that was secured. Would've been quite amusing to DL torrents all day whilst they sit there crying about slow internet.

About half the houses in my street have wireless broadband but only me and my neighbour have the sense to secure it. From my house I can get 80-100% connection on about 4 routers. I don't see any point in using theirs though when I pay for mine.
