After about 20-30 mins of my xbox bein g on and me playing a game my screen freezes and goes all fuzzy, anyone had this and can advice me on what to do?

You will get the 3 red lights of death. Sorry but it's going to happen.

What can you do? You need a new 360. Go to the store you bought it from and get a replacement or phone up MS and get it replaced.

I've lost my reciepe... but when i brought it at HMV they put my xbox's serial number into there pc.. will i be able to get it replaced there or will i have to do the microsoft way?

3 red lights are where your 360 fries. Won't power up. Just 3 red lights.

Just phoned HMV and they said they will get the manager to phone me about the sitiuation :o I'll let you know what happens..

Spoke to the manager and he said aslong as it dont look damaged and I need proof of pruchase because I've lost my reciept (bank statement will do) and I said about the guy scanning my serial number and he was adiment they dont do that he was abit of an -------- tbh lol, so now I'm trying to sort out my bank statement and gonna take it back this weekend..

He just said it's less than a year old....HMV it is.

You can still take things back without a receipt as it isn't mandatory for a retailer to supply a receipt...anyhoo a CC or Bank statement is just as good if they're wanting proof of purchase.

But.. I paid like £150 cash and £200 by card will that still be ok as my bank statement says £200 to HMV?

Well it's proof you bought something from there!

I guess it comes down to the Store Manager's discretion, I'm sure he'll believe you it was part payment to a 360. Although you don't need the actual receipt the store guy is not being unreasonable to ask for some form of proof of purchase.
