...who you backing?
I've just been and put £10 on Idle Talk (20/1)...and £2 on Homer Wells (40/1), only because Homers jersey is like the Rhinos old kit, aha. http://img0.eurobet.com/adyn/sp/gn/silks/20071527627.gif

I've decided not to back anyone as although it is quite exciting, I've never won anything :'(
I've never won either and I've been playing it for a few years (:/) Either way, I enjoy this being my only big bet of the year.
Had 5 bets, £2.50 each way on Idle Talk, Joe's Edge, number6valverde and Point Barrow. Also had a £0.70 each way on some 80/1 long shot.
And yes, that is what I class as a big bet :p
Either way, it's a great race to watch and get involved in.

Ahhh I didn't win.
My Sister won on her works sweepstake, though.
Haven't spoke to anyone who actually backed that horse though, ahaha.
Wouldn't of minded Joe's Edge winning like, as that was trained not far from my house.
Bring on the York Races now!

I put £2 on altogether :$.
A £1 on Simon which finished 15th and a £1 on Slim Pickings which finished 22nd. I fancied the 2 horses which were at 10/1 on teletext too (Hedgehunter and Point Barrow) but the missus talked me out of picking them in favour of Simon (since I have a good mate of mine called Simon). I would have backed Hedgehunter but it would have only been a £10 win so I haven't lost anything really.

w00t I actually won some cash for once instead of just giving it to the booky, won £330 for the race but lost about £50 of it on other bets so finished around £250 up for the day after taking out expenses such as beer.

I was lucky and I won £33 this year, not as good as last year (£80 win). I only bet once a year and it is on the Grand National. It is good fun but I feel it is more luck than anything. I always place bets on a lot of horses for a small amount, normaly a total of £20.
It is all good fun and I always get my 3 year old to pick a horse, it is always one that has a jockey in Pink!!!
Fingers crossed for next year.
