After the Man Utd result the night before this game was a real let down. It was boring as hell with Liverpool never moving out of gear. Not a great advertisement for the CL.

Thats because they did their business in the first leg, which was a good game if you never checked it out. Liverpool had a job to do and they did it very well IMO. Very professional, but as you say, hardly exhilarating.
