Pffft.
And why not?
He deserves every penny, the man is a genius, plain and simple.

The WHOLE of season 2 is memorable, we struggle to go a day at work or college without blurting out Phoenix Nights quotes left, right and centre.

Ha, gotta love pheonix nights, Peter Kay use to live like 10mins away from me. I've actually been to where the Pheonix club was filmed in farmworth. Also on Max and Paddy, where they try to sell the pig to a Safeway supermarket, i can actually see that out my window as i'm typing and when they go to the school to find Max's son, that was my old school :) I think Peter Kay can be hit or miss, i admire him for the work he's done and for putting Bolton on the map, but i disapprove of the way he charges unbelieveable sums of money for showing up at local events. I remember him asking for 20 grand to open up a new kids building near me, thats not on in my book.

he does loads of charity work, more than makes up for asking 20,000 to open something. its not as much as some people would ask.
