I did what they say and I have to say overall the Xbox 360 came out better, however there were scenes where I think PS3 Looked Better.

I think he meant to put SC but I've changed it now, so it's slightly more informative.

IF i owned a PS3 i would want a new game, not ones 360 owners have been playing for months. Buck your ideas up Sony and bring out some original stuff

Remember Burnout Revenge on the Xbox? That was a Port from Last Generation, let alone from another Console.

This to many people will be a New Game that they haven't experienced much like Burnout Revenge was for me on the Xbox 360

Maybe, but for Burnout they moved it into HD, for this, they have ported an old game from a similar system, like they have with FEAR for the 360. A PC port.

Well like all console releases the PS3 is going to be swamped by ports...

and to be honest im not to bothered

I wont be getting Vegas or SC as Ive had them played with them until they got borring and traded them in... I will get GRAW 2 though as that is still a fabulous game...

the one thing I am peeved about is the quality of the ports, I wouldn't mind if it was the same quality AS the 360 versions I have already seen, but for them to be worse is just shocking TBH!

BUT saying that Ubisoft have for some reason never been that good at ports so meh...

Is it just me or why is it that the PS3 cant seem to display black properly, its always dark brown.

Sorry bout that title.

Burnout was an ok port, Nothing drasticly changed about it. FEAR was terrible, Graphics werent all that great and gameplay was exactly same as its PC counterpart. I dont see why UBI doesnt just put its money into making new games for the ps3 rather than old ports. Baffles me?

Aa ha -just seen this thread and the comparisons are totally different in both - yet having played my mates SCDA on mine i can honestly say that it looked no better nor worse than the 360 version (and i play through HDMI for ps3 and VGA for 360), so i dont know where all these clips came from but they look nothing like the ps3 version - or could that be the 360 version?

Because its cheaper for them to make the ports, so they may make more money that they can put into making original games later on. Hopefully.

Yea it is but you also have the ability to reach out to a wider audience, so if you had completely different versions for each Console that would really only benefit the Console Manufacturer that's where exclusives come in.

However the Software Developer would effectively lose out as instead of selling Game A to 10 Million People, he would end up splitting that up and raising his development costs. Meaning simply less Profit for him to make more Games down the Line, thats why most Publishers/Developers are pushing there games onto numerous devices/cosnoles.

As long as they both play as good then that would be all I'd be worried about. Nice graphics are just a bonus really. There will be some games that look better on the PS3 compared to the 360 and some that look better on the 360 as opposed to the PS3, but it makes hardly any difference to me I must say.
