Anyone else watching this?
Ronaldo and Giggs are running riot.
I thought this would be a boring game, how wrong I was.

Saw the goals, Carrick's looked amazing.
Streaming it from ITV.com as the Sky is busted at work....and it only seems to want to stream Chelsea vs Valencia which doesn't seem half as entertaining.

It was Man U's own fault.
Same with Spurs.

What?
People getting ambushed by gangs carrying bottles and ---- is their fault? Police not guarding known danger areas around the grounds leaving people to get bottled or stabbed...and if Police are near any trouble they automatically batter the British.
I'm sure the guy who got his teeth knocked out by a Policeman's baton just for taking a photo of the Spurs team coach, then getting charged for assault himself and have to pay £800 to be released agrees with you though.
I bet the News of the World reporter who got ambushed on a bridge by 30-40 people, punched in the face and then chased through the streets with bottles, stones and smoke bombs thrown at him agrees too.
Oh and the guy who got stabbed, taken to hospital and then have a home fan put in next to him..who continues to abuse him and threaten to kill him. Well he deserves that alright.
Yet I bet you hate the Turks (as do we all) because it was innocent Leeds fans that got killed...they didn't deserve it though right?
No doubt the Eyeties will have been given loads of protection by our Police...whereas they should just be treated the same way our guys are over there....beat the crap out of the foreigner at the first hint of a ruck. We're too soft.

I saw the game and Man Utd were a different class to AS Roma tonight. You might not like them but take nothing away from them. They showed how to play some fabulous attacking football tonight. The passing, movement and understanding between the players tonight was top notch. Plus when you think they had some regulars out as well Scholes, Saha, Vidic and Neville spring to mind. Ryan Giggs played really well tonight, shame he can't do it for his country :'(. Cristiano Ronaldo was superb too. For once I agreed with David Pleat when he said he wondered how much Ronaldo would fetch in the transfer market and how good is Ronaldo. Michael Carrick's second goal was an absolute gem too. Top corner get in there!

Roma's attempt to play as far away from the "typical Italian style", as people call it, is why such a result happened tonight.
They're such a great attacking team, but you just can't come to Old Trafford and expect to play like you would against some mid-table Serie A team. It doesn't work.
As Thornbag mentioned, if they'd just stuck a bunch of players behind the ball, they would have fared much, MUCH better. It might not have been a very good match, and it probably would have raised the "typical defending Italians lol!" rubbish, but it most likely would have gotten the job done.
Goddamn Chelsea pissed me off, though. -----.

l must say that was a faboulous match to watch! Both of Carrick's goals were amazing. :D
Great news that Chelsea are through now too, it's pretty much confirmed that an English team is going to be in the final again which is great news, I'd love to see a English final of Man Utd v either Liverpool or Chelsea. :D

Liverpool will beat PSV tonight, I reckon, then beat Chelsea, in the same spawny fashion they did last time in the Champs League when they went on to win it.
They'll then probably fluke it Vs the scum in the final, too.
It'll be a shame, because most "big" Premiership matches are normally a load of bollox.

I hope Bayern Munich get to the final. I don't like them, but they play much better football than either Chelsea or Liverpool.
