I fear that my 360 has broken, ive just switched it on and now it has 3 flashing red lights witch is pretty pretty gay (:/)

Unplug everything, set it back up and hope for the best.

If that doesn't help, atleast you've unplugged it all ready for shipment to MS.

if i ring them up and say my 360 has broken will they replace or try and fix it, even though my warrenty has run out by a month? and will i need proof of purchase?

Well phone them up and see what say is the obvious reply. You don't know if you don't ask. They will tell you what steps and procedure you need to follow.

Once again it depends on when it was manufactured - lie by a month???..

They should be built to last years not just one! so ring and ask.

Ouch!...and there's me thinking as they are starting to make profits on every 360 made now that they would honor old faulty units.
