The other day my ranking messed up and mine went from 4 to 1 but the next game i had it sorted itself out. then today it went back to rank 1 and stayed there. and have to work it back again. why does this happen? as it seems to happen to a lot of people.

Yep, they should be the same for ages now. This reset was just for a competition, as Pico said.

You'd think instead of totally resetting everyone, they could have taken a backup of the database and then restored/merged it once the competition is over. Anyway - bloody cook sucres. resetting everyones accounts around the world just so the Americans can have a competition.

Will they do the same when/if (big if) they give other countries tournaments?

Exocet, wouldn't you be mad if your old account was a 3 and your newer account was a 7? Then they reset them back to a 3? I think i would.

I think i'd be more pee'd off if i was a seven and got reset to 1 just because A country was having a tournement all to itself. Thats why i also said merge ( it would be pretty easy to do that) but no, that's too much hard work for them!!
will they do the same if the UK or even Europe gets it's own tournament(i wouldn't hold my breath on that by the way!!) damn right they won't!!.

I was a 7 and got reset to a 1 when I had no chance of winning. :)

When they did this is when I stopped giving a ----e about the rankings. When the game first came out I was top 100 a fair amount (37th at one point), but then they decided they were going to reset everything, so I'm done giving a crap now. More fun doing clan matches anyway.

Yeah, I don't give a ---- about ranking now.
Im a 2, after been a 5, so it's impossible for me to play a Ranked Match.
