Halo 3 hitting our shelves as early as Sep’ 07 maybe even April!!!

Rumour has it that Halo 3 could be hitting our shelves as early as September this year. This is sure to please many Halo fans out there, myself included.

We European gamers never get any games first but according to IGN site ign.com Halo 3 is apparently coming to Europe on April 27th 2007. Is this a mistake or are they teasing us? You Decide!

The gaming press has an immature habit of playing April Fool's jokes on its readers. It's all cute and fine when the online publications do it, no matter how ridiculous or well conceived, because at least it's on April Fools' Day. One day and it's lost to the ether. The problem is some gaming magazines do this with their April issues. Meaning that from the time they go to print, until sometime into May, we have to listen to tip, after tip, after tip about Game Informer said this or EGM said that -- all the time it was their April Fools' "joke."

Although this would be awesome i'm saving meself from getting to excited, as this would propably not be the first time a rumour like this was rubbish, and anyway how realible is ign.com and why would they be given this world exclusive?

I still think it'll be out in November whether it's done before or in time. Bungie have a habit of releasing games in Novemeber, plus the last game of the trilogy will coincide with the release of the first game

My pre-order for Halo 3 has been put back to November 07 :(

But as DC said, the more wait the better the game (hopefully)

I might've mentioned this elsewhere on the boards but I spoke with a cashier at EB games the other day who asked if I'd like to pre-order Halo 3. I asked when it was supposed to be released and was told September. Not saying it's definitely true, of course, but hey, who knows.

No offense to anyone but you have to be quite stupid for thinking this would have came out in about 3 odd months, First beta testing as josh said what would be the point in beta testing if its just gonna be out in a little while anyway. Two I dont think bungie would like to rush and cram ---- in a game they themselves dont think is finished completely if that makes sense. Three you the gamer know that it wouldnt feel right like its done ye sure there is multiplayer but this is the last part to the story right, I want it to be amazing and not have a ----y ending to a great 3 part story. Sorry if that was a time waster =P
