Well considering EA are rumoured to be buying out 2K sports then that could be well true.

AH - that makes sense, well hopefully between the two developers they can put together a team to make a worthwhile NASCAR game. What EA has been putting out, while I can get my NASCAR fix, it surely hasn't been anything to write home about......

i ben waiting for a a good NASCAR game don't get me wrong the games are fun but there are ne manufacture aleganses and the cars are nothing like real life on the games you can cut corners at 180 MPH withoout any of the assist on.

Haven't even touched Nascar since Nascar 06: Total Team Control. I was kind of hoping for a 360 port of '07, hopefully with more players allowed in online races.

The EA buying out 2K news seems a little strange though not entirely unbelievable, however if they do go through with a takeover we will all need to invest in uniting with Ubisoft to fight Sauron- I mean EA.

That's ridiculous. 2K is in with Rockstar Games. I highly doubt they would let EA get ahold of that department. 2K has a new next-gen (or is it current-gen now?) All Pro Football game shipping the same day as "Madden" this year too.
