pre owned game from Game

I bought Madden 07 from Game preowned. Waited for my son to get home before i tried it out. plut it in and it comes up disc needs cleaning. i took it out to see its scratchedthen then some. i used £7+ from my reward card towards it. how will Game refund me? anyone know?

Are we talking normal scratches or the circular ones caused by the 360?

If its the latter, then your 360 caused the damage and Game will not do anything and will refer you to MS to sort the problem. Staff are supposed to let people know that Pre-owned items can have damage from previous users but that you have a warranty to cover that.

If it is standard scratches (Normal or overuse) then you have a 3 month warranty on pre-owned items. Just take it back and they can exchange or refund the item for you. The points can be added back to your card if you really want a full refund (May take some Customer Service ringing, sorry) but make sure you have your card and receipt handy to make things easier.

I work at GAME, so they should all be following the same rules :)

ok. just relooked at them scratches . the dics has it all over it plus a arch of scratches from top to bottom.

i would just exchange it for another one just it seemed to be the last one.

Always look at preowned in the shop. infact, as i do, ask to see the disk before it even gets rung up on the til.

It's rediculous, aren't pre owned games supposed to be tested before sale? I bought a pre owned game from Gamestation and the same thing happened to me, just reeks of laziness.

I only have like 3 new games, all the rest I have picked up on the cheap in the pre-owned section. No problems, I've had more problems from games i spent 50 on thant games i spent 25 on

got it swoppped, they didnt have any more pre owned so just spend the extra £5 and got a new one. they didnt even look at it.
