I didn't get any.

It's Dad birthday today so I gave him A DVD recorder, only to find it looks like it's not new. So I will take it back and buy a new one.
I had steak today as well. Sooooo nice.

That's on it's way to becoming a life sentence! lol - no good luck to anyone really. My parents have been married 31 years today! and my mate gets wed on Saturday. This time last year i was out with my ex even though we finished months before..quite strange that i guess she was lonely. VD is a day for women

Sorry but i didnt say all women....just a generalisation, nothing to offend the opposite sex just the majority of women do like Valentines Day. Ive been with quite a few and worked with loads of women that expect some sort of acknowledgement on this day. Personally i think it's a money scam just like the rest of so-called days

Yes, many women like Valentines day, but I think that may just be to get some attention whereas many don't get much throughout the rest of the year?

If you're in a relationship, then it's rubbish because planned romanticism isn't romantic at all, and thus Valentine's Day ends up doing the exact opposite of what it sets out to do. I'm sure romantic gestures would be much more appreciated were they not expected and scheduled.
As for the situation with it if you're not in a relationship... well, I think it's blatantly obvious what the problem here is. :D

I agree with AJ, I went out with my wife yesterday. I told her that I was just trading some games and buying boots and afterwards we could eat a snack. She didnt realize that it was valentines, until were're on the shopping centre. She didnt get flowers and she didnt chocolat, but she had a nice afternoon anyway.
We've been together for almost 8 years and we know each for 10 and we never had a fight.:)

Except the tradition's been around since the Middle Ages. Valentine's Day made Hallmark, not the other way around.
