On Wednesday, we'll be releasing the 80's arcade classic "Paperboy," from Digital Eclipse/Midway.

The coin-op favorite returns but this time it’s enhanced with original content specifically designed for Xbox Live Arcade. A new multiplayer mode will allow gamers to deliver the paper co-operatively together on the same console, or over Xbox Live.

“Paperboy” will be available worldwide for 400 Microsoft Points. Rated E for Everyone; Mild Animated Violence.

Game Features

Seven stages (one for each day of the week) and 3 levels of difficulty – “Easy Street,” “Middle Road” or “Hard Way”
New Xbox Live multiplayer: The standard multiplayer mode involves two player co-op play which can take place on the same console or over Xbox Live
High scores are tracked on the Xbox Live Leaderboard
Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points

It's on now and it's great - a real blast from the past(Y) at just under 50mb and a fair bit online options seems a good little package

I actually won a BMX bike waaay back in the day (1985 and I was 13) in a comp by an amusement arcade (Treasure Island) in Glasgow. You had to get the best overall score on all 3 levels. They got in 2 extra machine for the comp but were removed once the comp was over.

Downloaded the full version and got around 5 achievements on one go!

Has some great online options etc. more than some full price games offer, like a private game.

Wow this game is terrible, I used to love it in the arcades as well, I'm sure the graphics were more crisp than this.

Come to think of it, they DO look a bit ragged. Personally, still very playable. This game holds a special place in my gaming history

I thought it did for me and had every intention of unlocking the full game but I was wrong.:'(

Hmm I remember playing this back in the day on my old Gameboy Classic. Might give the trial a go! :)
