View Full Version : Xbox 360 Hardware and Game Problems
I didnt see any thread to discuss Hardware and Game problems, so I created one.
My Rainbow Six Vegas disk has developed cracks through the centre, and they are getting bigger every time I put it in the machine. I emailed Ubisoft and they want £15 to replace it, when the warrenty states that within 90 days, if I send them my game and receipt, they will send me a replacment for free.

keep calling them and ask to talk to someone more important...they'll soon get fed up and send you a new one (probably along with a few games to keep you happy);)

I had the same problem with my COD2 disk. Its the disk spindle in the case that's causing the damage each time you put it way and take it out.
Activision replaced my disk with a new one for free and even sent it Special Delivery.

anyone noticed there are now 2 different types of game case kicking around? - one with a "pinch" centre spindle and the other older "disc cracker" push on spindle.......kinda makes you wonder why it was changed doesnt it?........or not.
Our of curiosity...which "flavour" has your Rainbow Six got?

mmmm Interesting. I had exactly the same problem with RSV - could it be a dodgy batch of disks? i have sent mine away - with a £15 postal order. i may ask for my 15 sterling back

I've had the very same problem, it's happened twice with my Rainbow Six Vegas disc.
First Time I just went out and Re-brought it, but I plan now to get them both replaced "Free of Charge" aswell.
My Vegas has cracked aswell, same thing happened to my old Saints Row aswell, but I traded that in a shop where I dont like the guy, so im now having to use my mates, might give Ubisoft a email tho, where do I send it?

RSV problem - I went through the Ubisoft website - you need to register to ask questions to the customer support staff. if you aren't too desperate this way will save you money.
I found the office number - 01932 578000 I think i may give them a phone on this number.

I have issues with RB6. Very often the game "hangs". Not responding at all. A restart is necessary! Is there anybody with the same issue... Or is it related to the hardware?

My TH8 did that the music stopped the game froze and my controller uinputs wouldnt do anything. I always had to switch off and start again. i sent mine back and it play fine now. (Y)

i guess i wil have to make sure that i choose games with the new cases then!!!
