RB6 Vegas: Help on last level please?

i am stuck on the last level. when you go down to open the floodgates, and then loads of terrorists arrive on the scene, i start killing them and then after about 30 seconds it always come up with mission failed: failed to get the floodgates open in time. what am i doing wrong???

Is this the part where you have rescued a worker and you have to take him to open something (carnt remember what is it - was Dec for me!).

If it is then basically protect your man by placing him at the top of a walkway overlooking a place full of generators and plyon thingy's. Make sure you kill all of the bad guys in that area and continue up into a computer room which as serveral bad guy's in. Wipe them out then the worker should run across the walkway/generators bit and into the room to do his stuff!

The bit after? Well you have to make the Korean man on your team open something aswell. Put the black guy next to the box inwhich the Korean guy is hacking at. You have to watch both doors...the first one in front of you will open with a wave of guys, kill some then look back as a shutter door will open...kill these as they go after the korean guy. Then it's just a case of fighting more.

ok, i'll try killing a few that come from the first shutter and then turn around to the shutter behind and kill some of them and see if i can do it.

Right it is quite tough so make sure you can kill a few that come out of the front shutter, then turn round to get the back shutter lot. It's useless trying to teach that ''evening guv'nor'' british guy as he's useless do it yourself...let him kill the one's from the front.

After a while they do go and then move on to the next bit, but be careful as some appear again!

I'd also recommend using some smoke grenades by the floodgates that way the enemy can't see it to shoot at it. Also make sure that the guys which appear behind you from the other opening warehouse door are disposed of. The enemies which appear in front of you aren't always the ones who cause the most damage.

i can only do about 2 checkpoints at a time though because its so exhausting.

i have new problem now.

how do i kill irene? ive got the bit where the chinese guy has to use a computer and irene is above us in a room, but she keeps on buggering off before i get a chance to kill her.

stay downstairs and protect the guy hacking the computer by killing everyone that comes into the room then once he is done he should tell you to go upstairs to kill irene while he opens the door

cool ive sorted it now. before i was just running upstairs too early.

just completed the game. rubbishly unsatifying ending
