NBA 07 1000 people online achievement

Kind of a bit late, but I just got this email as a reminder from achieve360points.com:

The time is almost upon us! Get your copy of NBA Live '07 ready.

Just a reminder, get online and stay online for the duration of the event, even if you are just leaving your console on ESPN radio for the whole hour. We want as many people as possible to get this achievement so please, DON"T LEAVE UNTIL THE ENTIRE HOUR IS OVER. This will benefit the most people possible. Good luck everyone, and hope to see you there.

Feburary 10th at 5:00 to 6:00 pm (Pacific)

Feburary 10th at 6:00 to 7:00 pm (Mountain)

Feburary 10th at 7:00 to 8:00 pm (Central)

Feburary 10th at 8:00 to 9:00 pm (Eastern)

Feburary 11th at 2:00 to 3:00 am (United Kingdom)

Feburary 11th at 10:00 to 11:00 am (Japan)
Don't know if anyone has the game here or if anyone who has it is still awake. :p

1000 people got it 25 mins in, everyone else who wasnt there at that time didnt because aload of ----- left after they got it meaning no-one else could get it. -----.

They should turn the achievement into the Virus type achievement now, that to get the achievement you need to play those people online and get caught the virus.

Also 106 people have got it according to mygamercard.ne's leaderboards.

Horrible, horrible achievement. Worse than Vegas' "Use the Vision Camera to Create Yourself" rubbish.

But still not quite as bad as Madden 07's "Update a Draft Roster", which requires you to own another game, and not only that, but a game not even available in this country! FOOLS!

Well, there is another chance to get this this sunday. Courtesy of the forums over at www.xbox360achievements.org (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=176819):

We here at X360A are pushing to get 1000 people online at the same time to get the cunningly named "Online with 1,000 people" achievement, worth 100 gamerscore.

Yes we know it has been attempted before, and yes we know it failed. That was due to the short time frame in which was allowed for people to find out-and the fact that this site wasnt involved in organising it of course!!

This is why we have given almost a months notice- so go forth and spread the word!!

The time we are looking at (on Sunday 25th February) is 8PM GMT (England).

So:

8PM GMT
9PM Central Europe
3PM New York (Eastern USA)
Midday California (Western USA)

We have been informed by EA Sports direct that you do not need to be playing a game, but you can just be online listerning to the ESPN radio service. Last time, EA recorded 917 users on their servers- so close, but yet so far!!

We're going to manage it this time tho, we just need help from you guys to spread the word around as many places as possible, to get as many people as possible. The odds are, this will only ever happen once. Be a part of it .
