After reading about so many xbox consoles having to be sent back to MS and having read a thread regarding a live member contacting watching to look in to the situation, I decided to do the same myself.

I contacted Watchdog who were very interested in the story. They are interviewing xbox 360 users who are having trouble and the item will be on next weeks Watchdog!

They are still looking for people to interview regarding the matter, so contact them on watchdog@bbc.co.uk if you have issues to discuss

Obviously this is for people who have had problems with their console. I do know that there are people who are still on their first and have had no problems- thats great. I'm sure that there will be people posting that this uncalled for- I don't think so. However, there are now far to many peolpe having to pay £84 to send their console back to MS to get it fixed. Some people have posted that they are their 3rd and 4th console!!!!!

There are obvious issues here that need looking into and hopefully something will be done

Looks like this is to be shown this coming week on BBC1.

I am sure a few of the members on here could supply them with some info.

I would of thought they would be editing the program by now if this is this week.

They always do followups though. So it might be this week and more in a few weeks time.

Will be interested by this as I would like to know the statistics as to how many people have had to get their 360 replaced. I just keep grinning as mine keeps running. :D lol

Doesn't seem like they're interested in statistics though..

But I mean surely they'll want to make it clear to the viewers that's it's a big problem with thousands of people having problems, they might have found out a good statistic, I dunno lol.

Is that because you're concerned it's all due to user error?

Well i am on my 7th one now i get occassional freezing with certain games like RSV but i believe that is a game issue as the people in my clan get freezing when playing online ye but it does not really bother me now.

I always get it on Vegas too, Uriel. It's deffo a game problem as I don't crash on anything else.

Yeah RSV has always been ----ed up for me, it does freeze alot but I never put that down to the xbox anyway plus I get glitches where my gun ----s off and I can't do ---- apart from run about, all people do is stare because it probably looks funny.

The game is ---- online, the bullets don't register like SP, it freezes alot AND it's glitched up the arse, I lost count of how many times I was glitched, maybe it's the shotgun as it's what I had when it happened on every occasion.

Microsoft has not revealed details of how many Xbox 360 units have been found faulty, but did state that the return rate is "significantly lower" than the CE industry average of between 3 and 5 per cent.

"Customer satisfaction is our highest priority, and we do everything we can to take care of gamers who may be having problems with their consoles," the company said.

There customer service is ----, if you ask me.
Just an English person who I can understand on the end of the phone would be a good start...not to mention there actual service. :/
If mine broke now, i'd just get a PS3.

There's no wonder people generalise over video gamers!
