Thinking of selling Crackdown after getting the Halo3 invite? Think again!

That is where you're wrong. I've heard about 10 people on Gears of War saying, "Crackdown was crap, I'm just getting it for the Halo 3 Beta" or in similar words.

I think it's the best way of doing it, at least that way Ebay won't be full of Halo 3 Invites.

However what's stopping me from buying Crackdown and then going round to mates and letting them use my disc aswell to install it? So far nothing! So if you don't want Crackdown but you want the BEta borrow a mates and save yourself £40/$60

Though, it might only work on one system mind like it does when you dl something to your 360. Having had 4 replacements, if offline i carnt use most of stuff as it was downloaded to another machine - that's very annoying and not my fault!

Did you two read the text in the image? The ony location from which you can enter the Halo 3 beta is on the Crackdown disc; therefore, you'll have to have the disc of Crackdown to play the Halo 3 beta.

I said knew that you would need the disc as it was mentioned in the post that i read....i said that this code would be downloaded to the first machine/GT only...what Big D was saying either lets's say Party A buy's the game but only want's it for the invite..Party A sells it to Party B (a very good and close friend) as they want Crackdown. When the time come's Party A calls up Party B and ask's if he/she can pop over to complete the transaction of code to machine.

By the way what did you thnk we/i meant? i see what you mean but is this a one off put this disc in or everytime? that hasnt been claified has it?

Ergo, legs, it doesn't matter how much you load the disc in your friends' consoles, they still have to have a Crackdown disc to load the Halo 3 beta, as you have to choose the option in the Main Menu of Crackdown. I see no way around that, unless, and no pun intended, you have experience of cracking software, and I'm sure most of the Gaming community doesn't.

I'm lke you (prob) not too fused!...im buying crackdown for itself...Halo3 invite i will prob ignore as im not a big Halo fan but for some this isnt great news. Personally it's nice to think someone has thought on their feet for once what with stopping the downloaders from gaining access..somehow i dont think a blank disc copy would work

Well Microsoft certainly cashed in on this, you have to keep the Crackdown game to play the Halo 3 beta clever clever. Only available in Crackdown ahah touche, but I think that Crackdown is an amazing game and that more than a few people will end up saying. Well might as well play Crackdown while wating for or wating or Halo 3 beta to download. I personally think its an amazing game
