ps3 more exclusives then xbox 360 says gamepro

According to US gaming magazine/website GamePro, the Xbox 360 has the weakest exclusive titles of the three next-generation titles. In an article on their website, GP says that, aside from Halo 3 and Gears of War, "the list [of exclusives] gets very slim. Microsoft needs a few more great reasons to own an Xbox 360 because when the PS3 picks up some steam a year (or less) down the road, it's going to be a tough battle."

basically i just want to hear your views on which console you think has the most exclusives, and which games in particular stand out for you in 2007.

I can't think of many compelling PS3 exclusives, but I haven't really been paying attention, to be honest.

Who cares?
I'm happy with my console, I am aware there are "other consoles" available, but I have neither the inclination nor the cash to purchase a PS3 when I think that the XBox more than delivers what I want from a games console.

The PS3 still has many exclusives. Whilst I agree with you that it doesn't look at the moment, it hasn't been out for very long and isn't even out over here.

Additionally there are several games on that list that aren't exclusives to the 360. They may be console exclusives, but Alan Wake, Shadowrun and such are coming out on the PC aswell.

I want Sony and the PS3 to do well. Why? MS NEEDS decent competition to keep the standard up. Sony will have to make sure that they keep MS busy.

i agree. i don't understand why people are bothered what the other console has if they already are sticking with an xbox. Also what is the point in fanboys they just slag the other consoles when really, the consoles need each other (as Cat said) to keep the standard up.

I wouldnt consider myself a fanboy as I have owned nearly every console released. One thing I dont like about the Sony PS2 and now PS3 is the Dual Shock style controller. I find it hard to use and not as well designed as the original Xbox and now 360 controller.

As for the game exclusives, who really cares if you miss out on one or two titles that are released on another console. I am more than happy with my 360 and Xbox Live.
