THP8 achievemets glitched??

Ok so i was playing THP8 and i got a combo over 500,000, yet no achievement, i did this on free roam, classic goals and competition and it didnt work, also ive done every pro challenge and i have yet to recieve the god damn achievement.

I saw that Big D 04 was playing it earlier so i messaged him seeing if he had encountered problems, he said he had'nt and his excuse was that he sucks :|

anyone else had these probles or know a way around them as it is becoming very frustrating GRRRRRRR

You have to do it in 'free skate' in a 2min timed run.

Yup, in free stake then press start and do a timed run.

Anyways yea I couldn't comment as I haven't tried to get that achievement as I'm not very good at pulling of combos or runs unfortunately. Thats what I spend most my time doing finding little tricks or patterns that I can improve my Combos with. I can only get as high as 80k Max.

cheers, i thought you had to do it in carreer :( getting big combos you just need to incorporate the nail the trick mode into it. thanks for the help, now i got the 10 million achievement w00p!!!

When you get to Rank 5 Tony Hawk gives you his second pro challenge, win that and you get to Rank 4 + the Pro Challenges achievement. It might say 9/9 pro challenges complete but you still need to do 1 more challenge. Tony Hawk also has a 3rd challenge when you get to Rank 2 and it's bloody hard, a fat combo from the top of The Capitol building to the FunPark, check it out.

I've gotten to the bottom of the skatepark once and smashed into the door instead of going through, I was rather annoyed. :(

all the glitches have been fixed robsta and they suck tbh. im sepnding alot more time on this game, im gonna try and get all my stats up and go for all classic goals on sick, how long did it take you to do that jjbdude??

Well for the Classic Goals on Sick it took about an hour on each one as you need to memorise your line perfectly and screwing up just once will lead to you failing. I got my stats to level up quite quick but I didn't even intend to get those achievements, they just came as I progressed through the game.

The cheat to get the high combo achievements does still work but I won't tell you how as it's a naughty thing to do. :p

ive got all the high score ones, just doing loads of goals to get my rank up, yet i never seem to rank up GRRRR.

the stats is gonna take a while, i did the daily grind and forgot to save it lol :( anyone no a fast way to rank up?????

I see you have got all the combo achievements and that you have used the glitch to get them, shame on you!

The only way to get those achievements is to play the game offline so your not connected to Xbox Live, I see every other achievement you have has a date on which shows you were on Xbox Live, however the combo ones have no date.

yes, but the patch has updated the glitch that i new of therefore i couldnt of glitched it, im on wireless and ntl (people on ntl should agree with me or i will cry) randomly go down for a while :(

yeh i no but it was worth a try lol, it was the only way i could get them :P, it hasnt ruined the game though, i wanna see if i can 1000 point it :) cheers for all the help aswell people :)

Yeah I want to 1000 point it too (3 achievements left to get) but the last goal on the game has put me off bigtime, I've spent over 4 hours trying and still no success. Sometime I'll bother to get the 10,000,000 high score one and same with 100% gaps.

Oh and I am 99% sure you won't be able to get to Rank 2, you have to do 95% of the goals on Sick and that means being able to do over 1,000,000 point combos which you've proved you can't do. :)
