Oblivion Mage Guild.

I'm doing the quest where i need to use four different types of magic on the pillar but i cannot find the Frost scroll/magic, a Guide said they're all in the chest near the bloke but this one is missing.

Anyone know where i can get some ice/frost scrolls which target an enemy and NOT myself like the 'Frost Sheild' i have.

I've looked in the market distrinct(imperial city) and they just sell ice protection

It is around there somewhere. I honestly don't can't remember where, but look through all the rooms. :s

Apperently someone sells it in the mages guild located in skingrad, gotta go check it out :p

I got ruined at the exact same bit, I had all the potions but before reading my guide I used them wrongly, so I had to spend HOUR after HOUR after HOUR looking for more, it took that long the game bored me, it's just daft how they expect you to know how to use them and exactly where to find them.

I fyou can't find teh spell go to the Praxographical (?) building in the Mages area and create it yourself, it only needs to be 1 damage, 1 duration, on Target...will cost just a few Gold.

The chest is in the narrow corridor where the guy is. The dude who translates the 4 inscriptions on the walls. Its full of scrolls not just the 4 you need

I could never find the magika spells that damn thing needed, I looked so long and so hard till I finally spotted that chest by accident after trying some random spells on the pillar XD

i did exactly this. i spent a couple of hours going to every cathedral thing in every city trying to buy the spell, onlt to find it five ysrds form where you need it. i had to laugh.

I had this same problem, but you need to find a spell called Snowball. It costs very little and it works.
I had the problem looking for the affect magicka spells, then found the chest. Tbh this quest is a bit of an anti climax. Wait till you get to some more quests

I ended up buying the snowball spell and then found out i needed destruction level 25, so i went through the whole areana just using that fire spell, then i accidently sold the magicka spell you need and ended up buying that skill :p

All the mage quests are completed now though, working on the fighters guild now :p
