Tell me what make and model number your modem is, and I might be able to help.

I heard something about using a USB cable instead of a ethernet cable, not sure if that works though.

EDIT: found this on the net (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showthread.php?p=16034), it talks about using a USB cable instead of a ethernet cable but also that you can buy USB-ethernet converter to make a USB port into a ethernet port, so it might help.

i think it will hard to connect to the net with your setup, must find a way around, but for all the work you will have is better to buy a wireless router and use the cable that came with the 36, then you'll have more ports for others conections and wireless in the house and you can connect your 360 even on your neighbours house!

Buy a LAN card - anyone will do, make sure its a 10/100 LAN card, that will have an ethernet port on it.

Nah it doesnt work like that, it will be fine on a 10/100. The 10/100 is just the speed on a network, it will work better on that than any other Lan card. ;)

www.dabs.co.uk sell Lan cards.

This one is pretty decent:

Cheap, but does the job, and has the ethernet slot you need :)
