This has to be the best Rocky film EVER possibly the best Slyvester Stallone film Rocky is the best series of film next to The Godfather and Rambo anyone who says the new Rocky is rubbish must have something wrong with them :brow: the acting/plot is top notch :)
just a shame theres going to be no more Rockys but theres a another Rambo on the way next year only really liked First Blood this WILL make up for it like Balboa made up for Rocky 5 which wasn't rubbish just not as good as the others but still a good film
who liked Rocky Balboa? I like it so much I've already seen it twice in 1 week! :D Slyvester Stallone is excellent :D

It was pish.
Acting was crap, plot was crap, movie was crap and sullies the good name of the original Rocky.

You must have done a few rounds with Sylvester if you think it was the BEST Rocky film ever.
If it had been a prize fight the trainer would have thrown in the towel once he had seen the screenplay.

and as for the "true fan" bollocks, for one, bingo wasn't claiming to be one, and second, a true fan knows when to admit when something is a let down/---- and let it go!
anyway, for me personally, the film was a big letdown. after all the bull---- hype, Sly ----ed it up, i mean he's not totally to blame, but has he ever been able to string a sentance together by himself?
kets hope they don't ruin the Rambo name

I admit Rocky 5 wasnt as good but it was still good just not the best rocky

Not able to string a sentence together? you mean his voice is a bit slurred thats because hes part italian it is the best rocky film ever whats the matter with everyone!!!!!!

Chart positions mean nothing. Think of Rocky as an EA game, everyone rushes out to buy it on the week of release, they are then more than happy to trade it in the next week when they realise they have bought a crock of ----.

Im a big Rcoky fan, cant wait to see this tbh.
Ive got the DVD set right, and I remember one time I watch the whole set without a break. As soon as one film finished I slapped in the next one. Was a good day tbh. Or, day and night...LOL

Somehow I dont think Rocky Balboa will be winning any Oscars unlike the Original Rocky. I also dont think it will even match the box office that the 1st one done so to say its a FACT is wrong.

Right i am one for debates and the forum does follow a more relaxed attitude now but this topic was about a film no matter how bad or good it is and has ended in a what i can only say as way off the mark - on both sides yes
