A ninth person has been arrested in Birmingham over what senior security sources say was an alleged plot to kidnap a member of the armed forces.

Police made the arrest this afternoon on a motorway in the city area. Eight men were arrested earlier following a series of morning raids....

...A total of 12 addresses in the Sparkhill, Washwood Heath, Kingstanding and Edgbaston areas have been sealed off and are being searched following raids at about 0400 GMT, say police.


Yea although this isn't really funny, just thought we shouldn't get over serious about this stuff either.

I saw an Asian guy being interviewed on the news about this...he needed a good kicking for sure!

He was saying that the Police raids and continued presence in the area was victimising Muslims...he said 'the police are saying they're here to protect the Muslim Community...but the extremists are not targeting Muslims so that is not acceptable' !!

What a ------! It's okay Mr Hook-Hand-in-Disguise.....they're not targeting Muslims so I guess we should just leave them to it!! Even though the reports were that a foiled plot was to kidnap, torture and kill a Muslim just for being in the British Army.

This smelly arse then went on to say that Police raids are not needed, the Police should speak to the Muslim Community for help...I can see it now 'Excuse us Sons of Allah...are you making any bombs at the moment? Do you happen to be planning any Jihads any time soon? No? Ok...keep it up'

My idea is they should kidnap, torture and kill all Muslims that run shops that happen to be supplying goods and produce to British people.
