Dilemma...

OK, I have a bit of a Dilemma...

What should I do, I want Xbox Live, Surround Sound and a HDTV. Unfortuntealy, that will cost at least 1,200 pounds, i'd imagine.

I currently have 400 :p and am about to start saving for them all now.

But I Was just wondering which one I should aim for and purchase 1st. I could go get Xbox Live now but that would set me back for my HDTV, so im kinda stuck...Or if my TV (which will cost the most) is the most important and should aim for that 1st??? My TV that I have at the moment is OK I suppose, does the job anyway??/

Go for Live first.

If your TV is going to do the job fine, there's no need to replace it just yet.

Yeah go for LIVE 1st...if your desperate for soem hi-res gaming get a VGA cable to tide you over. As for your HDTV you could always go for the 26" and save a couple hundred quid!

I'd say, Live, HDTV, 5.1, in that order myself, although up to you or if you see any bargains about.

Get live first, maybe the sound system next and I would wait for the HDtv because they will drop in price soon enough. How gutted would you be if you bought one and then the price dropped a month or 2 months later.

I'd go for the HDTV. It adds a massive graphical improvement on the 360 and without a HDTV, you're missing out on the complete experience. That said, Live is awesome but there's not a truly great Live game out there at the moment (for me anyway).

I disagree I haven't got a HDtv and my 360 looks and plays great on my tv a 42" rear projection. So if I get a HDtv I would have the complete experience I disagree. So before HDtv we couldn't get the complete experience you say well I remember playing Halo 2 on Live and thinking this was the best thing since sliced bread.

I understand what you're saying, i have seen a 32" HDTV with a 360 game on it and there's a diference, but game playing is game playing and it's there even if you dont have HDTV!

Looks liek i'll be going for Live then.

I had a brainwave and decided I would get my Mum and Dad to pay for half of my TV in May (for my Birthday) that way im not spending all my money on it. Then with my B'day money ge tthe Surround Sound.

I've seen games in my local GAME and Gamestation and they do look good (Y) I'll give you that but I still stick by what I said earlier in the thread.
