Just had an email from Shopto.Net (http://www.shopto.net/index.php?)
They are starting to allow individual sellers to sell their New and Used games on their website for a small transaction fee.
We are proud to announce the (slightly late) launch of the new second hand game trading section of ShopTo.Com, it is called "SellTo".
Currently you can only trade products that are currently listed on our site but we are already working on the process of selling any appropriate item! The only other restriction is that the games must already be released, so no games listed as "pre-order" can be sold.
To use the feature you must have a forum nickname as this will also be your seller name. Simple navigate the site to the product you want to sell and click the "sell with sellto" link. Enter the price, quantity, condition and brief description. The product will stay listed until it sells or you cancel it. There is no charge unless the item sells.
1. There is no "listing" fee for items in the SellTo system, there is only a final valuation charge of 10% with a minimum charge of £1. This fee is non-refundable accept where there is a mistake on the part of the SellTo admin staff or the SellTo system.
2. The item sold must be located in and shipped from the UK.
3. The delivery address must be in the UK.
4. All items must be shipped via Royal Mail registered post within 1 week of purchase, if the tracking code has not been entered 1 week from purchase the buyer will be refunded the full list price, the seller will still be charged the Sellto Fee.
5. Lost items are the responsibility of the Seller not SellTo. If the buyer marks the item as "missing" (see (10) below) and the seller cannot prove delivery (i.e. via Royal Mail tracking code) 2 weeks from the date of shipping then the buyer will be refunded the full amount, the seller will still be charged the SellTo Fee. The seller can then claim for a lost parcel from Royal Mail if they wish.
6. If the seller cancels the transaction then the buyer will be refunded the full amount, the seller will still be charged the SellTo Fee.
7. The money for the transaction is released to the Seller when the buyer confirms the item has arrived and they are happy with it by leaving feedback and submitting a rating of the seller. The seller is also charged the SellTo fee at this time.
8. Once the money has been released to the Seller (see (7) above) the buyer can no longer lodge a complaint.
9. If the buyer has neither confirmed nor disputed (see (10) and (11) below) the arrival of the item 14 days from the date of shipping then the transaction will be assumed to be successfully completed and the item is processed as per item (7) above.
10. If the item arrives and the buyer is not happy with the condition or the item is otherwise not what they expected then before 14 days from the date of shipping they must mark the item as "disputed". A ShopTo staff member will then contact the buyer and the seller and settle the dispute.
11. If the buyer has not received the item 7 days from the date of shipping they must indicate this by marking the item as "missing". The buyer cannot mark an item as missing sooner than 7 days from the shipping date. Failure to do this within 14 days of the shipping date will result in the transaction being automatically mark as successful (see (9) above).
12. The purchase of an item is an agreement between the buyer and the seller. SellTo is not in any way responsible for the items sold and under no circumstances will provide a replacement item.
13. SellTo is not responsible for any costs or fees incurred by either the buyer or the seller in using the SellTo process. The maximum sum of money that will be returned will never exceed the original amount of money taken.
Could be helpful to some of you who want to sell their games to fund other purchases.
