Got to that part 'bout the 360's And was wondering exactly how you would get one of those skins onto your 360? The controller ones look mint aswell :cool:

Had a look at the ones on that site and I'm not convinced the 360 looks as good with any of those. The controllers do look cooler though!

Some of them look great, but the 360 has turned out looking much better than I expected it would, so I'll probably just leave it as it is.
I'll not change the looks of my 360 or the controller. The white looks to good and it goes with furniture.
360 rocks!!

I'm certain they're just stickers Thorny.
Some look ok but would you really want to put stickers on your 360? You'd soon get bored with them and I'm sure it'd leave a nice mess if you wanted to remove them at some point.

They are specially created stickers actually. They are called "no mess" stickers. Basically, they are an extremly high quality finish gloss, almost rubber like, sticker that sticks EXACTLY onto the 360, with no messy missing, making it look just like the 360 was designed like that.
If you get bored of it, simply peel it off, and I guarentee there is no mess. I have one for my PSP, looks amazing, and cos I was bored, peeled it off. No mess at all. I then stuck it back on, again no problems ;)
Reserve judgement untill you see the specially made 360Monster ones in the new year. :)

what happens to the skin when your 360 gets red hot like mine does. wont it make all the glue go all manky??????

Aparently not. According to consolegameskins, their stickers are heat resistant and it won't matter how hot your 360 gets.
Maybe just some stripes or just a small sticker in the corner!

Didnt until I played 6 hours of Call of Duty 2, then I had to bring an extra fan to cool it down.

Doesnt sound like much fun (the bringing the fan in part). Other than that, Call of Duty 2 for 6 hours...i'm definitely up for that! :)

i think for the moment the white is ok, but i do like the called "XBOX 360 SKIN ASTARO", but this would be one of thing to do a little later in time. :)

for xbox 360 i haerd decalgirl.com's skins, the pictures dont allign correctly if you have the full skin that blends with the faceplate

I had a skin for my original Xbox and it still looks mint after about 18 month....
Hum... might but one Russ and try it out. Would it be a good idea to review it? If I do I won't be peeling it of to see if it leaves a mess. I will prob end up liking it to much :D

- but would be interested if Xbox.Com had approved a mass production E3 05 Faceplate or Skin Set...given they were limited edition. Me rather thinks not...but I could be wrong.

Some how I doubt it too.
I think someone should create a clear face plate that comes with some sort of template that can be loaded onto a PC and lets you print your own faceplates.... Now that would be true customization...

i think thats already possible just choose the right paper or go to a office shop there you can lots of it!

I don't think it's quite the same though bud.
The skins are a 'special' material that I doubt you can easily buy....it's gotta be breatheable (I guess), able to withstand a degree of heat and have the right sticky so that you won't damage the consoles finish and can easily remove it if needed.

Its a special material fella - so I can't see that happening...
I dont think your understanding what he means. They have a PSP case that is clear. You can print off your own design and slide it into the clear case. That way your using your own skin.

Plus, by then we'll have some more "custom" skins for y'all to buy. We've been busy with another 360M thing at the moment behind closed doors so not had a chance to finish off the 360M custom skins.

The IT technician at my school said he will put one of those snazzy windows and LED's into my 360, if I want...he said he;s done it to his adn it looks awsome..he only needs it for 2 nights...Not sure weather to rish it or not though...but Green LED's in it wit ha Window on one side would look amazing!
Edit:- With the 360M ones, will there be a sticker/skin w/e for the controller?

I have the Logitech PSP case thats clear - but I would not class that as skinning my PSP - I have tried it and to be honest it looks bobbins.
And I would not think a clear version for 360 would be any better
But thats just my opinion so I will just shut up

The front wouldn't be clear. My idea was to have a clear front and print out a design to go behind it.
Just imagine your machine sitting there with The Usual Suspex all over it, or beware of the Bulldog, or The SugaBabes......
