apparently you can fix your 360 with a towel leaving it to over heat wrapped up in a towel i say its a good way to start a fire why not poor a pint of water over it as well for a laugh.

Why dont you ring M$ and ask for your's back..it will come back quicker than it takes to repair them lately

Then if it all goes wrong...you can haunt yourself(Y)

Thats nearly as bad as saying you can cure AIDs by having Sex with a Virgin.

*Above taken from what a Witch Doctor in Africa was telling people with AIDs*

No cause that would be your video cable isnt plugged in right etc.

The towel allows the 360 to overheat and stick the heat sink back down I think... I know it has something to do with the hot air gun method.

I would never even consider doing this as I'm pretty sure it will make your 360 even worse.

Well only if I've lost my sanity will I do it then. Common sense some how tells me that this is not the best method to get it back working neither will using a defibrillator to shock it back into working.

i probberly wouldn't do it either im just saying thats the reasons people do it

Yea I agree, I'd probably be more inclined to go pick up a Pre-Owned one or a Core Version.
