GoW glitch

hey, some guy just showed me like 3 glitches yerterday. But there is one my firend and i were having trouble with, if anyone knows it, its the glitch where you can run sideways very fast.

am i missing any?

apparently you can get out of mansion, and ive heard of one on canals.

Just dont do it in ranked matches, you'll end up with a load of bad feedback, like this kid i saw doing the tyro station one.

I had a link of these guys who dedicate their gaming to finding glitches in games. They have some amazing footage of all the glitches they've done but here is the most annoying glitch I've seen so far; I was in a ranked match and this guy locked his character in the Rodie Run mode but could still shoot and strafe. So all you see is this player who is zooming around you in circles shooting the out of you, and you know what was so funny? He told me he was going to report me for telling everyone he's cheating.

i went into a game of execution today and i got 2 downs first and i had 2000 points, i was getting 1k points per down, i said to this guy how do you do that he just said he was a hacker does spoil the game a lot knowing there are people that can hack the points system in gears of war, i got over 6k points in 3 rounds

yea i dont do it in ranked games, but that's where i saw some guy doing it, unluckily for him some kids dad worked for MS so he'll probably be gone soon. but now i learned how to do the run glitch, its actually pretty easy.

I hate people who cheat/glitch on ranked games. I like the atmosphere in a ranked match to be serious and professional, if I wanted to **** around I'd find a player match. It's a good laugh usually to see people doing them in a player match since you're only messing around for fun anyway but those people who actually take advantage of them to gain points are annoying.

I wonder how they think they achieved something when they got that rank by cheating?

nah I dont like Glitching, ever since Halo 2 I simply see glitching as pointless, only being used by those who cannot play the game by the rules...

Yeah, completely unrelated to the topic but relevant to the subject of glitches. I found that at least person has figured out how to freeze PES6, quit the game, and get the three-nil win. The most annoying thing was that I had to load up my stock data, again.

I just looked at some of these glitches via the means of www.youtube.com and they really are pointless. I haven't come across anybody yet on GOW who do these in rank matches thankfully.

As for the Halo 2 glitches they aren't against Bungies rules from what I remember so people are allowed to do them. I remember having a discussion before on Bungie.net with people saying that not everybody knows how to do the super bounce so that is an advantage in itself. They replied that they don't consider it cheating as everybody is able to do it even though some users don't know how to. Which I suppose was a fair and valid point. Still didn't answer my question fully though.

Well personally I don't blame people who glitch, I blame developers for allowing the glitching to take place and not remedying it quick enough.

Let's face it once a glitch has been found it spreads round the net pretty quickly so most people we obviously exploit "holes" in the game to win.

You are one lucky son of a gun... Ive seen glitches used countless times in ranked matches...

R6 ranked matches are a joke to in all escense as hosts can boot whomever they wish in a ranked match and of course you get gamerscore s booting entire lobbys to get ONE freakin achievement... but the player matches are a lot better as there isn't any glitching (well not yet anyway)...

I prefer the Vote to Boot System for Ranked Games....

However in a non-competitive Player Match the Host should Rule, but alot of the time it comes down to the simple fact that some people can't set up games properly :$ so They boot people who join.

I blame the people who glitch personally, ESPECIALLY those who use the exploits in ranked matches.

I myself don't care for ranks, gamerscore, points anymore but a lot of people do and It's a shame quite a lot of gamers see fit to ruin games online (still remember the hundreds of different Halo 2 glitches) for others who only wish to have a bit of fun and gain a few ranks or whatever....

and yes Hosts in player matches should be able to boot, but who on Gods green earth thought that a Host wouldn't abuse his powers in a ranked lobby, pathetic but it happens to much already and Ubi need to release a patch and soon...

I don't use glitches myself as I find them to much hassle, I remember the ones on Call of Duty 2 where you could get to spots outside the Map and also on PDZ.

It just made the game to easy for me, it's similar to Cheating on Single Player it just doesn't appeal to me. There's no point in playing.

The reason I blame the Developers is because "die-hards" playing this game constantly will always try to have the upper hand in the game and that's why when they realise there's a glitch they use it for there own benefit.

However Gears of War lacks a proper Online Ranking System anyway, so I don't see it as much of a problem for that game. NOr Rainbow Six Vegas either...

i just find glitches to be fun and innocent when playing with friends. It's a good break from the game, cuz im already getting a little tired of gears.

Certain glitches make gameplay more in-depth when everyone knows them, and pointless glitches are always fun to do in custom games so I'm always discovering new glitches that can stretch the lifespan of a game a little further.

I depise the people that use glitches just to win a match though. I've had modders on my team and it made the match pointless, I want to play the game, not watch someone win the match for me.
