Hi all,
Just bought a :live: gold code from ebay and I signed in to xbox.com and redeemed the code. It said congratulations you have now setup your account, however, when I tried to play play GoW online it said that I couldnt! So after that I tried to download a demo from market place and I noticed it said account type: silver.
Using the dash I went into account management and under there is did say Xbox live account: gold starts: 01/2007 ends: 04/2007 so the code has been recognised and also when I signed back into xbox.com under billing and account management it says:
Xbox Live Prepaid 3 Month Gold Membership Card
Status: Enabled
Purchased: 11/01/2007
End: 11/04/2007
followed by my account number
Do I have a problem here or am I missing something obvious? I thought once I had redeemed the code I was good to go!
